Sergey Glazyev: Russia is ready to assist Armenia in restoring such a sector as instrument-making and computer technology

Russia is ready to assist Armenia in restoring such a sector as instrument engineering and computer technology. The presidential adviser Sergey Glazyev told journalists on October 23 in Yerevan on the margins of the Eurasian Week forum Russian Federation.

According to him, these directions are being restored in Armenia today. There is an active cooperation of Armenian enterprises with the state corporation "Rostec". Armenia has always been considered a country with a highly developed country, in which for decades continued Sergei Glazyev.

"Having created a common market within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, we must now ensure that this common market includes not only commodities, but also high-tech ones," the adviser to the Russian president said. According to him, the huge market of the Eurasian Union will provide great opportunities for the recovery of the Armenian economy.

He also noted that, in addition to the ''Rostec'' Group, representatives of the Industry Fund of the Russian Federation came to Yerevan, who with their Armenian partners set the task of expanding cooperation and restoring the former positions of Armenia as a leader in instrument engineering and computing technology throughout the post-Soviet sector.

To note today the second day of the Eurasian Week Forum takes place, which is aimed at creating opportunities for the development of cooperative ties in the Eurasian space. The focus of the Eurasian Week is creating a favorable business climate, strengthening production ties, developing export potential, creating attractive conditions for foreign investors. The forum is intended to be an effective platform where business and expert circles, authorities of the EAEU member states and third countries can discuss the main issues of economic development in the context of global challenges and jointly develop strategic solutions.

This year, for the first time, a large-scale exhibition of export and cooperation potential takes place, in which more than 120 companies take part, representatives of agriculture, light industry, precise engineering, IT, production of innovative building materials, jewelry industry, pharmaceuticals. Over 2.5 thousand participants from more than 25 countries registered on the forum. Within the framework of the Eurasian week 35 events are planned.
