DIGITEC ON WHEELS EXHIBITION-FAIR TO START ON DECEMBER 21

The DigiTec on Wheels exhibition-fair will start in the city of Charentsavan on December 21.
The purpose of the event is to promote the use of information and communication technology (ICT) and the comsumption of ICT companies’ goods and services in Armenian regions, expand the ICT market, and to help establish an information society.
The Armenian ICT sector’s leading companies will participate in the exhibition-fair to present their computers, software solutions, telecommunication commodities, etc. They will tour 42 cities in regions by displaying goods and services in each of the cities for one working day. The event will include exhibition, instructive and entertaining components.

UN General Assembly passed resolution on People’s Right to Self-determination

During its 64th session convened on Saturday, December 18, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution on the People’s Universal Right to Self Determination. More than 50 UN member states, including Armenia and Azerbaijan, became co-authors of the document, RA Foreign Ministry’s press service reported. The resolution reiterates people’s universal right to self-determination and calls on countries to call attention to exercising the right. Most UN member states are convinced that the right to self-determination is one of the basic principles and cornerstones of international law.
